Finally a chance to rent the long recommended manga "Death Notes". The story is quite a mix of Robin Hood x Kindaichi Case File (
金田一少年の事件簿,), and I don't usually particularly enjoy materials too dark. Nevertheless, it's quite enjoyable. One of the characters, "L", is really nicely developed and carved. Developing a strong character can really push a story to an extraordinary level.
Also went to a nearby used book bookstore and got a very nice condition "The Art of Hellboy" for a stunning deal. Mike Mignola's bold simplicity is always an inspiration.
This sums up my weekend. ,
